Paul Carr Racing Supreme in German Euro Max

The Paul Carr Racing Team rolled into the Wackersdorf facility in Germany for round 2 of the Euro Max Challenge, carrying great expectations after an incredible showing in Belgium. The outfit would not disappoint!

Ukyo Dominates Again

The combination of Ukyo Sasahara and the Paul Carr Racing Team is proving to be not only dominant, but vastly superior in the Euro Max Challenge.

After being unlucky to be in the rain affected half of the qualifying sessions Ukyo Sasahara still managed to dominate his heats and started the pre-final from pole position. A considerable achievement after qualifying in 25th.

Predictably Ukyo drove away from the pack and won both finals with over 3 seconds in hand by the end of the grand final.

Morin Narrowly Misses Podium

Philip Morin was close to joining his Paul Carr team mate on the podium until the last moment of the final when a slight error allowed his opponent passed.

Philip's 4th place position is a great achievement at the highest level and Philip looks forward to the championship heading closer to his home in Sweden for the next round in Denmark.

Matt Solomon Strong Again

For a relatively inexperienced driver, Matt Solomon has shown incredible performance to show so well in the toughest Rotax competition on offer. In Wackersdorf Matt came home in 10th position, a great result and in sight of the lead pack!

Stefan Locsmandi Podium Within Grasp

New boy Stefan Locsmandi looked to cement Paul Carr Racing's dominance of the meeting when running in 2nd position in the grand final, but misfortune struck and contact forced Stefan down to 12th position by the end. Qualifying 6th with a heat win, and making his way to 2nd shows that Stefan has the pace to land big results.

Injured Eastwood Shows Pace

Charlie Eastwood suffered a broken wrist at the previous weekend's racing yet was still able to show promise with his pace. Unfortunately the weekend didn't come together for Charlie and so his results didn't reflect his potential, but after some recovery time Charlie hopes to return to the track with a bang.
