Parry and Norris Excel at World Finals with Paul Carr
Every year all the world's most successful Rotax drivers are invited to a one off event to decide the world's number one Rotax drivers. This year the finals were held in Egypt with each competitor using identical equipment.
From the Paul Carr Racing camp were Junior Matthew Parry and Senior John Norris who both were being engineered by Paul Carr himself to ensure the best performance was gained from the equipment designated to each driver.
After qualifying and heat Matthew Parry was looking good for a victory, and lined up pole for the final. However fate was not kind to Matthew and after a difficult start he found himself back in fifth position. But Matthews' never say die approach meant he was able to fight his way back up to second place to take a satisfactory result back home to Britain.
John Norris was able to finish in 8th in the grand finals after having to fight hard against the very best of the World's Rotax Max Seniors, well done John!
